Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Tuesday in the red, pressured by the decline of five of its sectors, particularly real estate and banks.
By 10:40 am UAE time, the DFMGI fell 0.63% or 21.56 points, in line with analysts' expectations.
The real estate sector dropped 1.06% after Arabtec lost 0.57%, while the transport sector declined 0.65% after Aramex fell 0.76%.
The banks sector was down 0.6% after Mashreq Bank dropped 10%.
In the meantime, turnover reached AED 83.88 million after 27.09 million shares changed hands through 612 transactions.
