Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has closed Sunday’s trading session with negative performance on profit taking.
The DFM’s general index declined by 0.50%, or 13.92 points, ending the session at 2,766.09 points.
The market’s traded volume reached 84.16 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 77.62 million through 1,425 transactions.
By the end of the session, the market capitalization retreated by AED 1.72 billion to AED 367.01 billion.
The consumer staples sector topped the decliners falling 3.58%, followed by the banking and services sectors with 0.56%, and 0.29%, respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector inched down by 0.12%.
On the other hand, the investment sector was the bourse’s only gainer adding 1.06%.
