UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.32% to settle at 2,550.23 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.
A total of 158.73 million shares were traded through 2,977 transactions valued at AED 208.89 million.
Emirates Refreshments led the losing stocks with 10%, while Amlak Finance topped the rising stocks with 5.04%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.03% to end Wednesday's session at 5,912.56 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 4 billion after 1.13 billion shares had been exchanged through 3,143 transactions.
National Takaful Co (Watania) headed the green zone with 9.2%, while Waha Capital came on top of the red zone with 2.4%.
