DFM closes Wednesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.37% to settle at 3,582.22 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of AED 330.71 million shares have been exchanged through 8,299 transactions valued at AED 638.50 million.

Amlak Finance led the green zone with 7.60%, while Takaful Emarat topped the red zone with 9.70%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.06% to close Wednesday's session at 10,089.59 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.56 billion after 318.54 million shares had been traded through 11,595 transactions.

Easy Lease headed the rising stocks with 14.95%, while the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) came on top of the losing stocks with 5.29%.
