UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.34% to settle at 3,527.39 points by the end of Wednesday's session.
Turnover amounted to AED 548.31 million after 284.26 million shares had been exchanged through 7,179 transactions.
Union Properties led the rising stocks with 6.93%, while the DFM company topped the losing stocks with 3.17%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.57% to close Wednesday's session at 9,845.99 points.
A total of 380.09 million shares had been exchanged through 10,128 transactions valued at AED 1.52 billion.
Al Dhafra Insurance Company came on top of the green zone with 14.96%, while Fertiglobe plc headed the red zone with 9.88%.
