UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.80% to settle at 3,335.79 points by the end of Wednesday's session.
A total of 94.67 million shares were traded through 3,686 transactions valued at AED 216.39 million.
Ithmaar Holding Company led the rising stocks with 3.33%, while Dar Al Takaful topped the losing stocks with 2.2%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.028% to close Wednesday's session at 9,100.28 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.39 billion after 185.21 million shares had been exchanged through 7,565 transactions.
Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) headed the green zone with 10%, while the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) came on top of the red zone with 7.17%.
