DFM closes Wednesday's session down; ADX up

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.42% to close Wednesday's trading session at 3,106.96 points.

A total of 509.046 million shares were traded through 6,468 transactions valued at AED 538.685 million.

Mashreq Bank led the rising stocks with 10.35%, while Union Properties topped the losing stocks with 9.85%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.42% to settle at 8,230.478 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

Emirates Insurance came on top of the green zone with 14.92%, while Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) headed the red zone with 8.16%.
