DFM closes Wednesday lower; ADX gains 0.17%

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Wednesday’s trading session on a varied note. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 0.72% to close Wednesday’s session at 2,515.35 points. 

A total of 67.23 million shares were traded through 2,232 transactions valued at AED 144.82 million. 

Ekttitab Holding led the losing stocks with 5.37%, while Agility Public Warehousing came on top of the rising stocks with 10.03%. 

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by 0.17% to settle at 5,745.27 points by the end of Wednesday’s session. 

Turnover amounted to AED 789.23 million after 96.42 million shares had been traded through 1,866 transactions. 

Gulf Cement Co headed the green zone with 13.48%, while Al Wathba National Insurance Co topped the red zone with 10%.
