DFM closes Tuesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.91% to settle at 3,276.18 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

A total of 258.108 million shares were traded through 5,795 transactions valued at AED 608.34 million.

Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development led the rising stocks with 14.13%, while Dar Al Takaful topped the losing stocks with 9.4%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index declined by 1.05% to close Tuesday's trading session at 8,841.699 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 2.004 billion after 268.018 million shares had been exchanged through 11,255 transactions.

Alpha Dhabi Holding came on top of the red zone with 8.86%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry & Feeding Co headed the green zone with 14.98%.
