UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.63% to settle at 3,646.18 points by the end of Tuesday's session.
A total of 377.12 million shares were traded through 9,070 transactions valued at AED 833.43 million.
Emaar Development led the rising stocks with 8.99%, while Emirates Refreshments Company topped the losing stocks with 5.10%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down 0.41% to close Tuesday's session at 9,870.23 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.80 billion after 352.28 million shares had been exchanged through 12,712 transactions.
National Takaful Company (Watania) came on top of the green zone with 11.02%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co headed the red zone with 4.39%.
