DFM closes Tuesday down; ADX up

UAE– Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 9.22 points (0.22%) and ended Tuesday’s trading session lower at 4,060.95 points.

A total of 125.66 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 372.89 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 100 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock with 28.74 million shares.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) led the gainers with 2.72%, whereas Al Salam Bank headed the decliners with 4.52%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.38% to 9,749.43 points.

The turnover reached AED 993.31 million through the exchange of 175.73 million shares, while the market cap value hit AED 2.84 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 210.33 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 28.85 million shares.

RAPCO Investment topped the risers with 5.29%, while Hily Holding led the fallers with 9.55%.
