DFM closes Tuesday down; ADX up

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.20% to close Tuesday's session at 3,411.87 points.

A total of 106.36 million shares were exchanged through 4,489 transactions valued at AED 361.06 million.

Amlak Finance led the rising stocks with 1.58%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance Co topped the losing stocks with 9.7%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.62% to settle at 9,732.3 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 2.11 billion after 303.48 million shares had been exchanged through 13,631 transactions.

Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) came on top of the green zone with 14.81%, while Reem Investments headed the red zone with 8.84%.
