UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.46% to settle at 2,750.96 points by the end of Thursday's session.
A total of 235.98 million shares were traded through 5,533 transactions valued at AED 349.94 million.
Depa led the rising stocks with 10%, while National Industries Group Holding (NIND) topped the losing stocks with 9.97%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down by 0.01% to close Thursday at 6,517.85 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.88 billion after 243.11 million shares had been exchanged through 5,148 transactions.
Al Khaleej Investment Co. (KICO) came on top of the red zone with 8.33%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co (SCIDC) headed the green zone with 13.47%.
