Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled down by 0.68% or 18.82 points at the end of Thursday’s trading session, closing at 2,768.56 points.
The trading volume amounted to 149.52 million shares exchanged through 3,171 transactions at a turnover of AED 263.20 million.
The market cap value plunged by AED 1.29 billion to AED 375.94 billion from AED 377.23 billion on Wednesday.
The services sector led the decliners with 1.13%, whereas the investment and financial services sector was the only riser with 0.06%.
Damac Properties was the top loser with 9.58%, whereas Ekttitab Holding headed the winners with 2.86%.
Meanwhile, Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 60.22 million, while Damac Properties was the most active stock through the exchange of 30.81 million shares.
As for the leading stocks, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and DXB Entertainments edged lower by 1.82% and 1%, respectively.
