Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market Company (DFM) has been operating for 25 years, reflecting its evolution into a globally connected capital markets platform.
The group closed 2025 with net profits after tax amounting to AED 969.12 million, higher year-on-year (YoY) than AED 376.36 million, according to the financial statements.
Net profits before tax hit AED 1.06 billion, driven by strong trading activity, expanding international participation, and sustained confidence in Dubai’s capital markets.
Meanwhile, the total income jumped to AED 1.27 billion last year from AED 632.34 million in 2024.
The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached AED 0.12 as of 31 December 2025, up YoY from AED 0.04.
During 2025, the DFM General Index (DFMGI) rose by 17.20%, while total market capitalization reached AED 992 billion, highlighting the strength of market performance and reinforcing Dubai’s position as one of the region’s most dynamic and resilient capital markets.
Helal Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of DFM, commented: “As we mark 25 years since the establishment of DFM, the exchange continues to play a central role within Dubai’s financial ecosystem, supporting transparency, liquidity, and long-term market development in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”
Hamed Ali, CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, said: “In 2025, DFM continued to build on the progress of recent years, supported by steady trading activity, growing international participation, and ongoing enhancements to our market infrastructure.”
The CEO added: “ Our focus throughout the year remained on improving market accessibility, supporting a broad range of investment activity, and ensuring the market continues to operate efficiently for both issuers and investors.”
In the nine-month period that ended on 30 September 2025, DFM logged higher net profits after tax at AED 851.71 million, versus AED 275.52 million a year earlier.
