UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 15.47 points (0.39%) at the end of Wednesday’s session to close at 3,892.55 points.
A total of 125.07 million shares were traded, generating a turnover of AED 298.37 million.
Takaful Emarat headed the risers with 3.73%, while Orascom Construction topped the losing securities with 9.94%.
Emaar Properties generated the highest trading value of AED 108.94 million, whereas Shuaa Capital was the most active stock in terms of the volume with 7.49 million shares.
Likewise, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.91% at 9,429.32 points.
The trading value amounted to AED 1.06 billion through the exchange of 214.44 million shares. Meanwhile, the market cap value reached AED 2.80 trillion.
Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) topped the risers with 12.50%, while Gulf Medical Projects (GMPC) was the top faller with 10%.
International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 218.38 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock with 28.64 million shares.
