DFM, ADX end Wednesday with decline

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 8.13 points (0.24%) at the end of Wednesday’s session to close at 3,349.40 points.

A total of 141.23 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 276.51 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance Company was the top loser with 7.12%, while Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development headed the risers with 3.47%.

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 52.08 million shares at AED 78.56 million.

Likewise, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.373% to 10,180.29 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.29 billion through the exchange of 163.07 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.63 trillion.

Easy Lease Motorcycle Rental led the fallers with 5.24%, while Foodco National Foodstuff advanced the risers with 14.43%.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 348.78 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock with 20.23 million exchanged shares.
