DFM, ADX end Wednesday’s trading session in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session at 3,427.05 points after losing 2.25 points (0.06%).

The turnover totalled AED 225.22 million through the exchange of 81.97 million shares.

Emaar Properties, which generated the highest turnover of AED 65.75 million, was the most active stock on which 11.78 million shares were traded.

Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development topped the gainers with 9.73%, whereas Ekttitab Holding led the losers with 3.77%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.038% to 9,944.09 points.

A total of 156.44 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.13 billion, whereas the market cap value reached AED 2.54 trillion.

Insurance House advanced the risers with 10.35%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) headed the decliners with 9.87%.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 336.51 million, whereas Borouge dominated the trading volume with 18.08 million shares.
