DFM, ADX end Wednesday’s session lower

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 26.02 points (0.77%) and closed Wednesday’s trading session at 3,353.40 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 276.07 million through the exchange of 98.99 million shares.

Emirates Refreshments advanced the gainers with 14.80%, whereas Takaful Emarat – Insurance headed the losers with 9.06%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 17.46 million shares traded at AED 104.47 million.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.128% to 9,865.68 points.A total of 285.71 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.33 billion, while the market cap stood at AED 2.24 trillion.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) was the top faller with 9.86%, whereas National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) led the risers with 8.77%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 324.02 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 65.50 million shares were exchanged.
