DFM, ADX end Monday’s session with negative performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s trading session in the red zone at 3,339.31 points after losing 33.64 points (0.99%).

The trading value amounted to AED 287.22 million through the exchange of 286.56 million shares.

Amlak Finance, which logged profits worth AED 266 million in H1-22, advanced the gainers with 8.10%.

Dubai Financial Market Company (DFM) headed the losers with 4.16%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 66.19 million, whereas Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) was the most active stock on which 175.66 million shares were traded.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session lower by 0.764% at 9,796.97 points.

A total of 296.44 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.33 billion. The market cap reached AED 2.23 trillion.

Burjeel Holdings, which began trading 11% of its share capital on ADX today, was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 147.21 million shares traded at AED 339.86 million.

EasyLease Motorcycle Rental topped the risers with 9.23%, while Aram Group led the fallers with 9.89%.
