DFM, ADX close Wednesday with collective decline

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session lower by 8.64 points (0.25%) at 3,339.79 points.

The turnover reached AED 197.08 million through the exchange of 107.87 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 59.59 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock on which 27.98 million shares were traded.

Shuaa Capital advanced the risers with 7.57%, whereas Takaful Emarat – Insurance Company headed the fallers with 4.39%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.049% to 10,331.78 points.

A total of 156.06 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.07 billion, while the market cap amounted to AED 2.65 trillion.

Al Wathba National Insurance Company led the losers with 10%, whereas National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) was the top gainer with 8.61%.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 221.30 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 18.48 million shares.
