DFM, ADX close Wednesday higher

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s session up by 46.82 points (1.42%) at 3,325.68 points.

The turnover totalled AED 683.98 million through the exchange of 238.51 million shares.

Dar Al Takaful was the top riser with 14.78%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) led the declining stocks with 2%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value and volume of 59.29 million shares at AED 296.62 million.

Similarly, the main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session higher by 0.734% at 9,202.21 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.47 billion after 238.14 million shares were traded. The market cap value reached AED 1.74 trillion.

Ooredoo was the top riser with 14.29%, while Gulf Medical Projects led the fallers with 9.72%.

Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 59.82 million shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) generated the highest turnover of AED 329.39 million.
