DFM, ADX close Tuesday’s trading session in red

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 4.13 points (0.11%) on Tuesday and ended the trading session at 3,458 points.

A total of 164.90 million shares were traded at a value of AED 347.94 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 94.80 million.

Amlak Finance, which was the most active stock with 32.44 million exchanged shares, headed the decliners with 10%.

Meanwhile, Takaful Emarat – Insurance was the top gainer with 14.07%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session lower by 0.266% at 9,855.68 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.35 billion through the exchange of 267.84 million shares, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.54 trillion.

National Mobile Telecommunications Company (Ooredoo) advanced the risers with 11.46%, while Gulf Cement Company led the fallers with 9.90%.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 359.80 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 100.72 million shares.
