Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole – Egypt suspended the international purchase spend for prepaid cards as well as all international online transactions for all card types, according to an online statement by the bank.
Transactions with foreign currencies taking place in Egypt at some merchants have been also suspended.
These decisions are effective from 1st September 2016, the statement revealed.
The stock quote was down 0.4% to EGP 23.9 a share by 11:10am Cairo time on Tuesday.
