Mubasher: Kuwait on Sunday reported 80 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and nine new recoveries, according to data provided by the health ministry.
This brings the total number of infections and recoveries in the country to 1,234 and 142, respectively.
One of the cases is a Kuwaiti national associated with travel to the UK whilst 71 others have been in close contact with previously reported cases.
The remaining eight patients are under investigation.
