Cooperation Petroleum achieves EGP 47.5bn sales in FY20/21

Cairo – Mubasher: The Chairman of Cooperation Petroleum Company, Ayman Naguib, reviewed the business results for fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021.

The company sold about 6 million tonnes of petroleum and petrochemical products at a value of EGP 47.5 billion during the year ended 30 June, Naguib added in a statement on Tuesday.

The sales included 4.9 million tonnes of gasoline, diesel, and mazut distributed across stations and outlets in all governorates, the chairman revealed. 

The company owns a 30% share in the main petroleum products market and 21% in the oil market.

Moreover, the company has 1,245 fuel stations, of which 95 stations provide natural gas refuelling services. 

Meanwhile, Misr Petroleum Company also reviewed its business results for FY20/21 with total sales of 6.4 million tonnes across 54 stations and outlets. The company also added 119 stations for natural gas refuelling services, Chairman Mohamed Shaaban said.
