Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The AED 260 million ($70.7 million) development of City Centre Sharjah is set to be completed.
The Sharjah-based mall’s gross leasable area has been enlarged to 51,428 square metres from 37,728, while parking area has increased to 1,426 spaces from 700, according to a press release posted on Monday.
A group of new brands have opened outlets in the mall including Sharaf DG, Home Box, and Korean lifestyle store Mumuso.
The mall’s revamp will resume in the next months, as Sharjah’s first 12-screen VOX Cinemas is scheduled for inauguration in the second half of 2018.
City Centre Sharjah is a megaproject developed by Majid Al Futtaim, a Dubai-based shopping mall company.
