Riyadh – Mubasher: The General Supervisor of the Social Development Unit at the Saudi Ministry of Labour negated what was circulated about cancelling the Citizen's Account.
Majed al-Osaimi added on Twitter that the programme continues to support small and medium income families as planned.
Citizen's Account aims to protect Saudi families of small and medium incomes from the impacts of the economic reforms set in the fiscal balance programme, al-Osaimi said.
Recently, social media platforms have been circulating news regarding the cancellation of the Citizen's Account programme after the issuance of the latest royal decree.
