Mubasher: China targets annual economic growth exceeding 6.5% from 2016 to 2020,in a brief overview of China's 13th Five-Year Plan for national economic and social development, according to a government report published "Xinhua" agency.
According to the report, it is the lowest percentage of its kind during more than three decades.
This project will be submitted to the fourth session of the 12th National People's Congress for consideration.
The plan revealed that China will have GDP of 92.7 trillion yuan ($14.2 trillion) in 2020, compared to 67.7 trillion yuan ($10.4 trillion) in 2015.
There are procedures and policies will be implemented in areas including agricultural modernization, upgrading industrial sector, preventing pollution, poverty reduction and energy consumption. The country will also enhance its efforts to advance the regional coordinated development.
