Riyadh – Mubasher: Chinese automakers OMODA and JAECOO, owned by Chery Group, have opened a 6,000-square-meter spare parts warehouse in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The new facility, stocked with over 3,000 stock-keeping units, allows the brands to directly serve the Saudi market without a local agent, according to a press release.
Partnering with logistics giant Maersk and express delivery provider SENDDEX, OMODA, and JAECOO aim to deliver parts within 48 hours across Saudi Arabia.
The companies also signed partnerships with Castrol for lubricants and Mideast Auto Service for roadside assistance.
By opening directly in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, OMODA and JAECOO target expanding availability and improving the after-sales experience.
The brands plan over 20 sales and service showrooms nationwide by end-2024.
A similar 6,000-square-meter Dubai warehouse will launch in July to bolster parts supply in the GCC region.
The investments demonstrate the automakers' commitment to growing sales in the region.
