Cenomi Retail’s revenues up 2.5% in Q1-26; accumulated losses unveiled

Riyadh - Mubasher: Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company (Cenomi Retail) turned to net losses of SAR 47.80 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, against net profits of SAR 1.80 million in Q1-25.

Cenomi Retail generated revenues amounting to SAR 1.36 billion as of 31 March 2026, an annual rise of 2.44% from SAR 1.33 billion, according to the financial results.

The earnings per share (EPS) reached SAR 0.42 in the first three months (3M) of 2026, versus a loss per share of SAR 0.02 a year earlier.

The quarterly losses fell by 83.79% from SAR 295 million in Q4-25, while the revenues declined by 5.13% from SAR 1.43 billion.

Meanwhile, the accumulated losses reached SAR 2.16 billion at the end of March 2026.

CEO at Cenomi Retail, Salim Fakhouri, said: "In a quarter shaped by a softer Ramadan season and regional geopolitical pressures, we delivered growth supported by a more diversified revenue base, with strong momentum in international markets, continued progress in e-commerce, and a broader contribution from electronics , beauty, sports, lifestyle, and fashion across the Kingdom.”

He added: “We also saw meaningful improvement in store productivity year-on-year, reflecting the benefits of better execution, stronger brand activation, and more focused capital allocation. We remain firmly focused on operational discipline, stronger store economics, and the progressive improvement of profitability across the business."

In 2025, Cenomi Retail reported net losses of SAR 505.50 million, an annual increase from SAR 203.50 million.
