Catalyst Partners Middle East mulls expansion in precious metals via acquisition deal

Cairo - Mubasher: The board members of Catalyst Partners Middle East (CPME) approved acquiring a controlling stake, potentially all capital shares, of EIH Consulting and its subsidiaries, according to a press release.

This transaction aligns with the EGX-listed company’s strategy to boost its business in the non-banking financial services sector, particularly in the precious metals segment and its financial services.

Catalyst Partners Middle East has authorized its Chairman or CEO to undertake all necessary procedures to initiate due diligence, finalize negotiations, and determine the final structure of the agreement, whether through a cash acquisition or a share swap.

Moreover, the company appointed Gravition Financial Advisory as an independent financial advisor to conduct a fair value assessment of EIH Consulting in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.

Chairman and Co-Founder of Catalyst Partners Middle East, Maged Shawky, commented: “This step aligns with the company’s strategy of investing in high-potential sectors capable of delivering sustainable growth and long-term value creation.”

Shawky affirmed that EIH Consulting is a promising model that integrates operational expertise with forward-looking vision, particularly in the precious metals sector.

Through this potential transaction, the company aims to leverage its investment expertise and regional network to support expansion plans and foster innovation in financial products and services related to gold and precious metals, in line with evolving market dynamics.
