Capricorn records 36,300 boepd from production in Egypt

Cairo - Mubasher: The UK-based Capricorn Energy's working interest (WI) production across four concession areas in Egypt reached an average of 36,300 boepd after completing their acquisitions on 23 September until 31 December 2021.

The company recorded an 8% rise in its production from the Egyptian assets during the September-December period, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Oil and condensate accounted for 38% of the production mix from September to December.

The company's recently acquired assets in Egypt comprise Obaiyed, Badr El-Din, North East Abu Gharadig, and Alam El-Shawish West.

In 2022, the company's WI production is expected to record an average of 37,000-43,000 boepd, with oil and condensate representing 35-40% of the production mix.
