Cairo – Mubasher: Capgemini rolled out plans to establish an AI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Egypt to accelerate the generative and agentic AI transformation journeys of clients worldwide.
Capgemini will invest in research and development, enter into partnerships with local academic institutions, and leverage technology partnerships to scale the adoption of AI, according to a press release.
This aligns with the global company’s objectives to drive growth and innovation in Egypt.
It also plans to double its workforce in Egypt by the end of 2025, reaching approximately 1,200 professionals in the fields of digital transformation and innovation.

With implementation starting in May 2025, the new AI hub will deploy Capgemini’s expertise to develop intelligent agents that are bespoke to highly regulated industries, such as energy, life sciences and aerospace.
By leveraging advanced algorithms and machine learning (ML) techniques, Capgemini will help clients across Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia elevate customer experience to a strategic value driver.
