Cairo – Mubasher: The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) reported consolidated net profits of EGP 10.23 billion in 2020, down by 13.24% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 11.8 billion, excluding minority shareholders’ rights.
The lender’s net interest income rose to EGP 25.17 billion last year, compared to EGP 21.57 billion in 2019, according to a bourse disclosure on Monday.
As for standalone business, the bank logged EGP 10.29 million in net profits in 2020, down from EGP 11.8 billion a year earlier.
During the first nine months of 2020, CIB achieved net profits of EGP 7.34 billion, down from EGP 8.53 billion in the corresponding period in 2019, including minority shareholders’ rights.
