Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of petroleum Tarek El-Molla has discussed with the China Development Bank (CDB) the opportunities for cooperation and partnerships in new projects, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Chinese side has expressed their desire to take part in financing oil and gas projects in Egypt, due to its economic feasibility and the success of previous Chinese investments in the Egyptian oil sector.
The Chinese bank also presented the facilities they offer in financing projects, the statement noted.
