Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 46.50 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 26 October 2023.
The first tranche stood at EGP 19.50 billion and will mature in 182 days on 30 April 2024, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering was valued at EGP 27 billion, carrying a maturity period of 364 days until 29 October next year.
Earlier this week, on 22 October, the CBE issued T-bills at a total value of EGP 47.50 billion through two offerings.
