Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 65 billion through two tranches on Monday, 10 September.
The first auction was valued at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 9 December 2025, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 40 billion, with a tenor of 273 days until 9 June 2026.
Additionally, the CBE issued fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 10 billion. The offering carries a three-year maturity period until 26 August 2028.
The financial authority recently auctioned debt instruments at a combined value of EGP 92.50 billion.
