CBE to offer EGP 43.5bn debt instruments on Thursday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will auction treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 43.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 23 February.

The first tranche will total EGP 20 billion, holding a maturity period of 182 days until 29 August 2023, according to official data.

The second offering will stand at EGP 23.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 27 February 2024.

Earlier this week, the financial authority auctioned T-bills amounting to EGP 35 billion through two issues.
