Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 2.75 billion through two issues on Monday, 28 March.
The first tranche is totalling EGP 2 billion, holding a tenor of three years until 4 January 2025, according to the central bank’s official data.
The second offering is valued at EGP 750 million and will mature in seven years on 4 January 2029.
Moreover, the CBE is auctioning zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 11.50 billion through one issue. The offering will mature in 1.5 years on 26 September 2023.
Last week, the CBE issued T-bonds at an aggregated value of EGP 3 billion over three tranches and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 12.50 billion through one offering.
