Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) through one tranche on Monday, 22 January 2024, according to official data.
The fixed coupon stood at EGP 1.50 billion and will mature in three years on 23 January 2027.
Furthermore, the CBE auctioned zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 1 billion through one offering, which holds a 728-day tenor until 20 January 2026.
Last week, on 15 January, the financial authority offered debt instruments at a combined value of EGP 2.75 billion.
