Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 500 million through one offering on Monday, 13 March.
The tranche holds a tenor of five years until 13 October 2027, according to official data.
Additionally, the CBE offered zero-coupon T-bonds at a value of EGP 1 billion through one auction, which will mature in 1.5 years on 10 September 2024.
The central bank also announced floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 1 billion, with a three-year maturity period until 14 March 2026.
Last week, the financial authority auctioned T-bond and zero-coupon T-bonds at an aggregated value of EGP 4.50 billion.
