Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) through one issue on Monday, 15 January 2024, according to official data.
Holding a three-year maturity period until 16 January 2027, the annual coupon was valued at EGP 2 billion.
The central bank also issued floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 750 million through one offering, which will mature in five years on 16 January 2029.
A week ago, the CBE issued debt instruments at a total value of EGP 60.50 billion over three tranches.
