Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is issuing on Monday treasury bills (T-bills) and bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 11.75 billion over three tranches.
The CBE is offering T-bills worth EGP 11 billion through two tranches, with the first being valued at EGP 2.5 billion and holding a 91-day maturity period until 3 May 2022, according to the central bank's official website.
The second tranche is being issued through 273-day notes valued at EGP 8.5 billion.
Through one issue, the CBE is also auctioning T-bonds with seven-year notes worth EGP 750 million.
It is noteworthy to mention that on Sunday, 30 January 2022, the CBE offered T-bills and T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 21 billion over three auctions.
