Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 50 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 1 June.
The first auction was valued at EGP 40 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days on 2 September 2025, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 10 billion, carrying a maturity period of 273 days until 3 March 2026.
On 29 May, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 90 billion through two auctions.
