Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 47.50 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 29 October 2023.
The first auction stood at EGP 22.50 billion, holding a maturity period of 91 days until 30 January 2024, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 30 July next year, the second tranche was valued at EGP 25 billion.
On 26 October, the financial authority auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 46.50 billion through two issues.
