Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 43.50 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 9 February.
The first issue stood at EGP 20 billion, carrying a 182-day maturity period until 15 August 2023, according to official data.
With a tenor of 364 days until 13 February 2024, the second offering was valued at EGP 23.50 billion.
On 5 February, the CBE issued T-bills at a combined value of EGP 35 billion through two auctions.
