Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 42.50 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 31 August.
The first tranche stood at EGP 19 billion, carrying an 182-day maturity period until 5 March 2024, according to official data.
With a tenor of 364 days until 3 September next year, the second offering was valued at EGP 23.50 billion.
On 27 August, the financial regulatory announced T-bills worth EGP 40 billion through two offerings.
