Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) amounting to EGP 39.50 billion through two offerings on Thursday, 6 April.
The first issue stood at EGP 16.50 billion and will mature in 182 days on 10 October 2023, according to official data.
The second tranche totalled EGP 23 billion, holding a 364-day tenor until 9 April 2024.
Earlier this week, the central bank offered two-auction T-bills at a combined value of EGP 40 billion.
