Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 30 billion through two issues on Thursday, 1 September.
The first offering stood at EGP 14.50 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 7 March 2023, according to official data.
The second issue was valued at EGP 15.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 5 September next year.
On 28 August, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 21.50 billion through two tranches.
